Handmade in the USA — every purchase helps support animal rescues in need.
Bring the loyalty and charm of the American Pit Bull Terrier home with a handcrafted steel silhouette built to last a lifetime. A thoughtful gift for American Pit Bull Terrier owners, and a beautiful way to keep a beloved companion close.
Handmade in the USA by My Metal Rescue — and every purchase helps support animal rescues in need.
Metal Rescue silhouettes are handmade in the United States from sturdy 11 gauge premium weathering steel, also known as Corten steel. Each design is available in two different finishes- Corten steel and Black.
The Corten steel finish is designed to develop a beautiful patina rust coating that will change over time, protecting the steel underneath. These silhouettes ship out as raw steel and will develop a patina if left in the weather or frequently exposed to wet conditions. The color of the patina should change over time, starting as brighter orange tones and changing to darker brown tones.
The Black finish is powder coated in a finely textured matte black that provides a stark contrast in a variety of settings. These silhouettes will hold up to weather and maintain their original appearance for years to come!
Each silhouette has 1-2 stakes attached to secure it into the ground.
Dimensions:
Dimensions are rounded to the nearest half-inch, reflecting the above-ground silhouette only. (not including stakes)
Small: 9.5" x 6.5"
Large: 13.5" x 9.0"
XL: 23.0" x 17.5"
*XL size takes 1-2 weeks for processing.

I absolutely love it. Shipping was fast, and it stands tall enough to see over the flowers. I have tried some others that you can't see.

This is so well crafted. I have such a love for the pit bull breed that I wanted to portray that in my garden. I stuck this in one of my porch plant barrels and it’s so cute!

Excellent product. I have 4 large and they are absolutely beautiful. One pit Bull and one staff pit used on their grave site. And one bull terrier and rat terrier for when they pass. Many of my friends have ordered for their pet cemetery as well
E
Freaking love it so wish it was more of a rusty color but it’s well worth the money…
E
Beautiful product, exceeded my expectations
E
Absolutely LOVED this! Got one for myself than had to get one for my mom too cuz I just knew she would love it as well, and did she ever! Looks just like my baby girl Zimba that just recently passed. So excited for it to turn the beautiful rust color to look even more like her! <3

I love this art so much I have the Boxer and Pit side by side under our dogwood tree to honor Johnny and Jake.

So perfect. Bought for my parents who lost their pit not too long ago. Came quickly and is absolutely beautiful

Our pit bull recently passed away. I bought this for my husband because the rust patina looks just like our dog, Luna. He absolutely loved it and made a memorial with hibiscus Luna flowers and paw prints 🐾.
The seller was very helpful and shared how to achieve the patina look faster. Shipping was very fast. Great product.

I gave the American Pit Bull Terrier metal silhouette to my daughter and her husband upon the death of their beloved Baker. It sits in the front yard outside a window he loved to watch the birds and squirrels from. You also see it as you walk up to the front door. I say hi to Baker every time I visit and tell him how much I miss him! The Corten steel is developing a nice patina.

We love it. Reminds us of Theo when he was a pup.
