The house goes quiet in a particular way. Most people who order one of these tell us they wanted somewhere to look - a spot by the roses, the end of the path, the window they always watched from.
The card
Tell us it's a memorial, and we'll write the card by hand.
The front is a Sorry For Your Loss card we had illustrated for exactly this. The inside is blank on purpose — until you tell us what it should say.
You give us the words, and one of us writes them in by hand. Not printed, not a sticker. And if it’s going to someone else who is grieving, we’ll ship it straight to them with your message inside.
How to ask for it
In your cart there is a box marked “Special instruction for seller”. Put their pet’s name in it, and the words you’d like in the card. That’s all we need.
We add the card when we know an order is a memorial — and the note is how we know. If you’d rather talk it through first, send us a message and we’ll take it from there.

- It’s made after you order
- Custom pieces take about 1–2 weeks in the shop before they ship. We’d rather tell you that now than have you watching the door.
- It’s built to stay outside
- Weathering steel rusts to a deep patina and then stops, so it holds up in the garden for years. Powder-coated black, red and white are there if you’d rather it didn’t rust.
- Every one is a little different
- They’re cut and hand-sanded in Idaho, one at a time. No two come out quite the same.
